Cowgill Holloway expands North West team

Accountancy firm Cowgill Holloway LLP has strengthened its Manchester and Bolton teams with eight new appointments. Over recent months new additions have been made to the corporate finance, audit and compliance, tax and business recovery teams.
 
Commenting on the new appointments, Cowgill Holloway’s managing partner, Paul Stansfield, said: “Our recent growth demonstrates that even when general market conditions are tough, there is still a large demand for advisory services from North West owner-managed businesses - that means we need to expand. We are confident that all the new recruits will be valuable additions to our team.”
 
Among the new recruits is Rob Lord, who joins Cowgill Holloway as Head of Deal Origination, from Clearwater Corporate Finance, commenting on his appointment Lord said: “I am thrilled to be joining Cowgill Holloway. The firm has an enviable client list and its corporate finance team is widely recognised throughout the North West for delivering first rate corporate finance advice and support.”

The appointments at Cowgill Holloway follow a number of recent achievements including two staff from the Manchester office who have passed their professional qualifications, Natalie Kaalman is now an ACCA affiliate while her colleague Julia Barnett has recently passed her advanced technical papers. Alex Hesketh and Rick Fassioms both from the Bolton office have passed professional qualifications. Rick has passed all of his Institute examinations and is awaiting his ACA qualification, while Alex has just one outstanding exam to sit before becoming fully qualified.
