North West accountancy firm, Cowgill Holloway is celebrating 25 years of sustained business growth in the North West.
Founded by Peter Cowgill and Adrian Westwell in 1983, Cowgill Holloway currently employs over 150 people across its offices in the region. In 2007, the firm launched an office in Manchester allowing them to considerably increase their share of the corporate finance and business recovery markets.
Despite challenging market conditions, Cowgill Holloway has advised on deals worth a total value of £300 million over the past 12 months. Fee income has grown in the past year by 16 per cent, highlighting the firm's development and ability to continue to grow despite the current economic climate.
A key driver for growth has been Cowgill Holloway's focused investment on its people, having recently recruited five new graduate trainees who are working towards their ACA professional accountancy qualification. In the last 12 months they have recruited six people into newly created roles in the Manchester office and appointed a further 14 firm-wide.
In response to market demands over the 25 years the firm has strengthened its service line offerings in areas such as corporate finance, business recovery, wealth management, tax and outsourcing. Cowgill Holloway's key service sectors include professionals, care, property, waste and retail.
Peter Cowgill, founder and senior partner at Cowgill Holloway, commented: "Despite current market conditions, we have experienced sustained growth over 25 years. The culture of achievement and expansion will continue at Cowgill Holloway, as our commitment to grow with the market will see us offer new services and expertise to benefit our clients."
To mark 25 years in business and further build its presence in the North West, Cowgill Holloway has undergone a rebrand, including the launch of its new website - www.cowgills.co.uk
