Stuart Stead wins Young Accountant of the Year award

Stuart Stead, partner of Bolton accountants and business advisers, Cowgill Holloway has won the prestigious accolade of Young Accountant of the Year at this year’s North West Insider Young Professionals Awards.

A partner in audit and compliance, Stead qualified at the age of 25 and was made partner at Cowgill Holloway by the age of 32. He has been instrumental in driving the business forward and growing the audit and compliance division of the firm.

The annual awards, which were judged by business leaders from around the North West, were particularly impressed with the way in which Stuart had developed a good reputation amongst his client portfolio, his work in setting up a division in India and his property expertise, namely his appointment on the board of directors at Artisan.

Commenting on the award win, Stuart Stead said:  “It is fantastic to have been recognised as part of such an established awards programme alongside some of the key players in the North West’s business community.  I am thrilled to have won this award, which not only recognises my efforts but also celebrates the success of Cowgill Holloway.”
