We have been informed that HMRC’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme portal is due to open on:
Monday 20th April
HMRC have been working at pace to deliver the service that will allow businesses to make a claim for furloughed workers.
We would recommend that clients prepare the following information in advance:
- National insurance number
- Salary, National Insurance and pension contribution information
- Employees PAYE reference number
- Claim period, and amount claimed (the minimum length is 3 weeks)
Once the portal has launched, we expect HMRC will be extremely busy.
