The Manchester office of accountancy firm, Cowgill Holloway, has advised Assist Support Services Group Ltd on its acquisition of Temploy Recruitment Services Ltd, in a deal worth £2m.
Assist, a leading provider of recruitment and infrastructure services to both the public and private sectors, has acquired recruitment agency, Temploy Recruitment Services Ltd, to expand its private sector remit for temporary industrial labour.
Cowgill Holloway has played a proactive role in helping develop Assist and identifying acquisition targets for growth. This acquisition strategy has resulted in Assist increasing its turnover from a £3 million to a £35 million in just four years.
David Dargan, Chief Executive at Assist, commented: “As a growing business, we are constantly on the look out for targets. Our acquisition of Temploy Recruitment is our second within two years. This is largely down to the corporate finance team at Cowgill Holloway, who have been hugely successful in identifying the right targets for us and providing strategic advice throughout.”
Robin Prestage of Cowgill Holloway Corporate Finance, added: “It has been great to be instrumental in the ten-fold growth of Assist over the past four years, not only by advising on their organic growth but also actively broadening their trading portfolio. We are confident that the addition of Temploy will compliment the existing businesses and contribute substantially to their overall growth strategy.”
Cowgill Holloway LLP’s corporate finance team and George Davies solicitors advised Assist Support Services Group Ltd on the acquisition. Berg Legal and TMG advised the management team at Temploy Recruitment Services Ltd.
