Bolton-based business insolvency firm, Cowgill Holloway Business Recovery, has announced a year-long calendar of events to raise funds for local charity, Bolton Hospice.
For more than 25 years, Bolton Hospice has provided vital care to patients throughout their illness, helping to improve their wellbeing and quality of life, as well as offering support to many of their loved ones.
As an independent charity mainly funded by the people of Bolton, Cowgill Holloway Business Recovery has selected the charity as its partner for the duration of 2018. The firm has previously supported Bolton Hospice and various other charities over the years, however, this is the first year which will see the business commit to a full calendar of events including quizzes, bake sales and sporting events through to dress-down days and other fundraising activities.
Head of Business Recovery, Jason Elliott, commented: “The team here are totally behind the initiative, many of our team have had contact with Bolton Hospice so it’s a cause very close to many of our hearts.
“Whilst we’ve supported the Hospice and other local causes over recent years and will continue to do so, we’ve made a significant commitment to focus on raising additional funds through a series of events which members of the team will be arranging. We hope to see many of our clients getting involved with the events we’ll be holding throughout the year and look forward to helping the charity to continue its stellar work.”
Kathryn Willett, Corporate & Community Fundraiser at Bolton Hospice said: “A huge thank you to the firm for choosing to partner with us. As a charity, we have to raise £3.2 million per year to keep our vital services running and are so grateful to local businesses who fundraise on our behalf. We’re looking forward to an exciting calendar of events.”
