Leading independent accountants and business advisers Cowgill Holloway LLP have won the award for ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year’ at the 2013 City of Liverpool Business Awards, hosted by Downtown Liverpool on 25 July at the Sefton Park Palm House.
Cowgill Holloway beat off stiff competition to land the accolade with Deloitte, KPMG, Baker Tilly & Mitchell Charlesworth all shortlisted for the category.
The win is a culmination of Cowgill Holloway’s growing presence in the region with the firm’s Liverpool office going from strength to strength since opening in 2009.
Commenting on the award, Liverpool office director David Holland said: “We’re very proud to have been recognised by Downtown Liverpool for our achievements in the region over the last 3 1/2 years. As our reputation continues to grow we feel this award is a testament to our work with SME’s throughout Merseyside.

The win comes as the firm celebrate 30 years of being in business.
