Cowgills advise on acquisition of Bury metals business
Along with Mills & Reeve, we have advised entrepreneur Ian Griffiths on the acquisition of Bornmore through a newco vehicle, Image Investments.
Bornmore was established more than 30 years ago and is a major stockholder of an extensive range of non-ferrous metals.
Bornmore will join Ian’s portfolio of companies which include Blackburn-based steel service centre and processor, Steel Dynamics, and Eaves Infrastructure which specialises in storage solutions for the nuclear sector. The companies provide complete manufacturing solutions to the aerospace, nuclear, energy and chemical industries
Our Corporate Finance partner Ian Johnson, said: “We have advised Ian on multiple acquisitions over the last 20 years and Bornmore is another high-quality business to have acquired. It is a great outcome for Ian and the team as they continue with their buy and build strategy.”
