Cowgills advises the owners of Ixis on their business sale to CTI Digital.

Advised by partner Sam Davies and corporate finance executive, Brett Marsden, hosting agency Ixis a Deloitte Tech Top 500 firm, which employs 18 staff, has been acquired by Manchester based CTI Digital.

Ixis will continue to operate under founder and chief executive Mike Carter’s leadership but now with support from the wider CTI group and services.

The acquired Warrington brand will work as an independent agency, with the deal set to help CTI jump ‘years forward’ in terms of support department’s development.

“Our goal is to be the trusted digital partner of our clients,” said CTI chief executive Nick Rhind. “Everything we invest in, whether it’s acquisitions or our staff, our goal is to improve and build on what we do for our clients.

“Covid has accelerated digital expectations and online take-up by more than seven years in the last eleven months. The fear of change previously stopped some companies from investing in digital.

“I believe our first-line support, now bolstered by Ixis’s ISO-accredited team, will instil confidence in brands to react more rapidly and produce ‘extraordinary digital experiences’ as our clients describe them.”

Ixis managing director Mike Carter added: “Joining CTI strengthens our positioning by bringing data, creative, marketing, ecommerce and usability labs into the mix.”
