Football Ventures, the owners of Bolton Wanderers FC have today released a statement confirming that they have reached agreements with the unsecured creditors left behind following the Administration and subsequent Liquidation of the former company.
Chairman Sharon Brittan specifically thanked Cowgills Head of Business Recovery Jason Elliott for his assistance in reaching the outcome within the statement.
Jason commented “As well as being a valued client Bolton Wanderers are an integral part of the community, I am delighted to have been able to help in this matter, as a fan of the club I now look forward to watching matters unfold on the pitch as the club continues its rebuilding process under the stewardship of Football Ventures.”
Cowgills audit partner Stuart Stead said: “As a business established in Bolton, Cowgills has always been passionate about working with the club.
“Although our primary focus is to deliver audit services, myself and Jason will be working closely with Sharon and the board of directors providing ongoing advice to ensure the continued success of BWFC after a challenging few years.”
