Cowgills continue to grow team with raft of graduate positions

We are pleased to welcome our seven new starters who have joined us on our Graduates and training programmes.

Graduates Sadiyah Davda, Zahra Davda, Saira Ahmad, James Bradshaw and Claudia Harrison have joined the Bolton-based company and will be working across all divisions over the 2-year graduate training scheme. In addition, trainees, Jake Bradley and Charles Shaw have also joined the firm from Runshaw College and Bolton School respectively.

Commenting on the appointments partner, Lisa Wilson, said: “As a growing, dynamic business we are continually developing our team by recruiting the highest calibre of apprentices and graduates. This year we were overwhelmed with applicants from across the North West and have therefore been able to strengthen our teams with some of the brightest and best talent.”

She added: “We value our trainees, not just as because they represent the future of our business but because they bring a fresh new perspective which challenges how we manage our business and shapes how we evolve in the future. We look forward to developing with them as they begin their careers in accountancy, tax and business recovery.”

Cowgills also runs the Future Stars programme with Bolton School which offers 2 pupils work experience each year. Having run the initiative for the past 3 years the first of the Future Stars will be graduating next year and it is hoped they will take up roles with Cowgills or other leading accountancy practices in the region.

Graduate Claudia Harrison also added
: “After finishing my degree I was looking for a graduate programme that would give me hands-on experience with the personal support that is crucial at the start of a career. Having met with the team and partners I knew Cowgills was the right choice. They run an established graduate scheme with a proven track record of investing in staff and offer plenty of opportunities to develop and progress in their career. I’m very excited to have this opportunity to train with one of the leading accountancy firms in the region.”
