The TVD Group comprises TVC Technology Solutions, TVDB2B, Nirvana AV and a retail/internet division, and are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of audio & visual equipment to a variety of sectors. The team at Cowgill Holloway will work closely with the business in order to assist through its continued growth phase. TVD now recruit over 40 staff out of their head office in Bolton and have an impressive list of clients across the UK.
Rob Lord, Partner at Cowgill Holloway, said: “The TVD Group is a fantastic Bolton business. Established in 1996 by Jim Brown, they are a well-known family business with their roots firmly in Bolton. His sons Mat and Dan, together with a growing team, have developed the business from its retail outlet in Leigh to become one of the leading audio & visual suppliers in the UK with clients including William Hill, Enterprise Inns, Ladbrokes-Coral, Paddy Power-Betfair and Bourne Leisure. With their established client base and the launch of their new ‘Mitchell & Brown LED TV’ brand, I am sure the business will grow significantly over the next few years. We are looking forward to advising them as they continue their expansion plans across several key markets – they’re an exciting entrepreneurial business with lots going on.”
Mat Brown, Managing Director at TVD Group, commented: “Due to Cowgill Holloway being one of the most prominent and active accountancy firms in Bolton, we felt they were very well placed to assist us. They take an entrepreneurial approach to business and their full service offering was important to us, particularly with our range of new services on the agenda – including the launch of our Mitchell and Brown brand. We needed advisors who could really add value to the business.”
Their Mitchell & Brown LED TV brand was launched earlier this year, which has also become the first ever ‘Back of Shirt’ sponsor to newly promoted Bolton Wanderers FC. The family have been supporters and commercial partners of BWFC for over 40 years and Mat is also a trustee of the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust, helping to deliver valuable community projects around the town.”
