Based in Burnley, Neville Gee was established over 40 years ago and has become a well known brand across Lancashire. They specialise in filling permanent and temporary job vacancies across the engineering, technical, industrial, financial and aerospace sectors. They employ 12 staff across offices in Burnley and Leeds.
Our corporate finance team, led by Paul Stringer, advised the shareholders of Neville Gee on the sale of their Salford-based, Ideal Recruit. We identified the strategic buyer and also led the negotiations from start to finish in what was a complex deal. Ideal Recruit, places candidates across the business and industrial sectors throughout the UK and works from offices on Salford Quays, this is their first acquisition in their buy and build strategy in the recruitment sector. The purchase of Neville Gee means they can now drive the business forward to achieve their ambition to become a UK leading provider of interim and fixed term contract staff. Commenting on the sale, Paul said: “Neville Gee grown steadily since the early 1970’s in what is a highly competitive market. This deal will provide the new management team with the resources to further grow the business and develop new revenue streams.”
