Plumbnation was set up in 2007 by Royden Evans. After working in the building supply sector for Plumb Center and latterly Travis Perkins, he decided to set up his own on-line retail business. The business quickly grew to achieve sales of £14 million by 2013 selling thousands of heating and plumbing products.
Our corporate finance team, led by Paul Stringer, advised Royden on the sale of PlumbNation to Travis Perkins plc. We helped to identify the correct strategic buyer and advised Royden from start to finish by structuring and negotiating the deal. As part of the terms, Royden agreed to remain within the business in order to grow the business further and achieve further success.
