They serve a range of commercial and industrial customers from a purpose-built, state-of-the-art premises in Swinton.
About the deal
The transaction involved the sale of the entire issued share capital of Charterneed Limited (parent company) to Hanson UK. The main trading entity within the group is A1 Services. The deal ensures the long-term growth of A1 Services, with the business continuing to operate under its existing name going forward.
Hanson UK have plans to utilise A1 Services inline with their strategy to conserve the use of natural resources and fulfil their commitment to the circular economy. It will allow them to provide more recycled products into the local market and provide a source of RAP (recycled asphalt planings) for their asphalt business.
