About the deal
Cowgills have worked with Assist for over 10 years, supporting the growth and infrastructure development of the business. We understood the importance of identifying a buyer who recognises the value of Assist and can support the next stage of growth. Our client was apprehensive on formally marketing to a wide range of buyers due to potential information leaks. We mitigated the risk by targeting a small number of credible buyers identified by Cowgills.
Cowgills approached idverde on a technical transaction with international board approval requirements and negotiated a value above shareholder expectations. Cowgills provided lead advisory and tax services to support the deal.
