Established in 2010, Edit19 is a post-production video house offering a wide range of services. Services include video editing, colour grading, graphics, visual effects, audio, 3D modelling and animation. Edit19 boasts an impressive client portfolio including high-street names such as Vodafone, Samsung, Mercedes Benz, very.co.uk, BBC and ITV.
About the deal
The business was acquired by a leading media services provider dock10. Dock10 acquired the boutique post production house to work alongside their existing post-production team and bolster their offering for the advertising and corporate markets. The team
Edit19 had previously appointment our corporate finance team to advise the business and its shareholders on a pre-sale basis. During the process, we advised the vendors on corporate structure and financial review of the share purchase agreement and tax matters such as personal income tax and capital gains tax to the shareholders and managing the transaction throughout.
