With a current turnover of £9m, they provide active holiday packages for individuals taking part in triathlons and races across the world. Sports Tours International also own a number of UK mass participation events including the We Love Mcr 10k race, the City of Salford 10k and the Tour of Tameside event.
About the deal
Our corporate finance team advised the owner of Sports Tours Limited on their strategic acquisition of Freewheel Holidays. We led all the negotiations with the vendors and advisers from start to finish in order to complete the deal on the right terms and in a timely manner. The deal has further strengthened their position in the cycling holiday market and provides fantastic growth opportunities and future outlook.
