Capital Allowances tax relief is a way to claim back tax for all of the qualifying fixtures within your commercial property construction or refurbishment project.
This includes items such as lighting, boilers, air-conditioning, windows or cabling. In fact, it covers most fixtures that you can’t easily remove without taking the building apart.
Our Approach
The basis of our approach is to work closely with the appointed architects, project managers and contractors from an early stage.
This approach ensures that information collation is done in ‘real time’ which limits the need for retrospective administrative work by other parties such as the main contractor after completion. This also significantly reduces the risk of qualifying expenditure being lost.

Enhanced Capital Allowances
Our early involvement also allows for the identification of items qualifying for enhanced capital allowances “ECA” which will result in significant tax benefits. These ECA’s need to be identified at the earliest opportunity so that the relevant paperwork can be submitted at the appropriate time.
